One of the many problems with this statement, is that this game was created so that there is no benefit for spending more time.

you are 100% correct when the supply of something is known or is finite.
When it it not, prices will remain high due to speculation.
We just don't know how many of those swords, for example there are out there. And not all of them are for sale, people bought or found some for gameplay. Throw in the fact that there is no shortage of people who overpay for things and you have a bunch of factors that do anything but help lower prices.
Let's not forget the keeping up with the Joneses thing too. Lot of people do this in MMO's.

Farming isn't about perfect fellblades and eternal bows. Farming is about unlocking for PvP.
I recently ascended my 5th PvE character. Out of the five, 4 have made it ember light camp and 2 have beaten the game. My /age reads something like 450 hours (not sure about validity due to supposed bugs, but it seems realistic). Throughout those 5 characters and 450 hours, I have unlocked 1 (one) superior rune through regular PvE play. Thats right, one; a superior strength from one of the kryta missions. In contrast, I farmed tengu (before nerfs) for about 20 hours and unlocked all but 8 superior runes. There are 26-29 runes (don't want to count exact number). That means in roughly 20 hours I unlocked about 20 superior runes through farming vs 1 rune through 450 hours of 'regular play'. It should also be noted that I did my farming before armor always had runes. 20:20 or 450:1. Seems like there might be a problem, eh?

You can get 5 bleached shells in an hour? $10 says you are exaggerating.

Even when you have your fissure armor and your perfect fellblade, there's still gonna be a bunch of people with exactly the same gear. Then what?
|
Your own personal satisfaction in regards to your characters' appearances does not concern me in any way, so what if you are happy about it? People ARE currently working for it. What do you think people are doing in UW shouting "LFG" the whole day long? Perhaps they are looking for groups just so they can go to underworld and fissure to do some quests?
Haha, you really crack me up.
Why don't you give it a try, and tell me your feelings again when you see that max damage low requirement RARE storm bow drop and the text comes out "... which your party assigns to XXXX", and XXXX happens to be that party pest who essentially does nothing useful, keeps agroing everything, and at which point he charges forward, picks up the item, gets himself killed, and quits the game in satisfaction and glee.
"Wait a second, NOBODY in our party agreed to assign that item to him? Why the RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO is the game putting words and intentions into our mouths?"
Sorry bud, I do not farm, but I can tell that farm != EASY. If you think it is that easy, why don't you go and farm? And pray tell.. but how do you quantify "work"?
Not everyone is like you, having the ability to spend their summer school holidays playing GW, while mummy and daddy brings home the bread and butter you know.

Ok, now you're farming PvP for an estimated 300,000 faction.

wham, bam, thank you mam.. or sir...
im guessing that is why they added it, but i always hear people say "but that takes too long, *other such whining and complaing... and it wouldnt hurt to add a bad nerfing comment towards Anet*" as if they though everything in GW could be done in one day... Id love to express all my thoughs, but i dont want to get banned for doing so

Pre-searing, yes.
Searing, no.
People give Gwen the flute (sold at merchants) so she can heal in the area and the cape so Gwen can follow to other maps, problem is that its quite in a hit in the wallet and by the time we get her those items chances are we do not need her 20hp healing that much.

Don't you think people complain that it takes to long because this was advertised as a 'low grind game?' I don't know what you consider a lot of grind from your EQ background or whatever, but 400-600 hours is a lot to me. Whats ironic about say that everything in GW could be donne in one day is that it certainly was UNDONE in one day.
By all means, express your thoughts, the fewer people who don't know how to read the game box and other info about the game the better.

I love people that say one class is over powering....there is always a count you just have to find it

So first you say rangers need nerfing... then you say yours hardly does any damage.. eh...ok lol. There are pleanty of counters against them. This game is very balanced when it comes to classes and skills.. you just have to find the best combination that suits your goal..

LOL, when you are close to dying you leave, I bet that must be really helpful to the team :/
Warriors are not overpowered, just about every class has numerious methods to counter them, weakening, slow down spells, empathy, faintheartedness, clumsiness, spiteful spirit, blind.....
